​The 5-29 Group is founded on partnership. Through our love of sports and events, we met while working at the Mobile (AL) Civic Center. We fell in love and made our lifetime partnership official on 5-29-94, hence why
together we are The 5-29 Group.

We are excited to use our extensive campus, public assembly facility, conference and athletic club experience to team with you to tackle your athletics, recreational and fitness facility and communications challenges!

Ed Stoner

I am a passionate, results-oriented builder of organizations, people, facilities and programs and using long-term vision and strategy, especially in management, facility design and customer service within education, health & wellness and sports. Life-long learning and development is essential to me, highlighted in my continued pursuit of new experiences, knowledge and creative ways to address issues. Merging my determination with an optimistic perspective, enthusiasm and energy, I provide visionary leadership, reflected in my professional progression as well as the progression and success of many of my proteges.

Elyse Stoner

​Professionally, I have worked in arena management, college athletics, higher education and non-profits all over the United States. ​My marketing, event and brand management expertise, combined with my outgoing personality and can-do attitude have drawn millions of people to the myriad of sporting events, concerts, educational programs, fundraisers and business conferences in which I've been involved. From being voted “The Person Most Likely to Stay in Touch” in my high school youth group to being a “serial volunteer” for countless community organizations, it’s second nature for me to use my problem-solving know-how, teamed with my communication skills to craft fresh, comprehensive, solutions to our clients’ challenges.
